About 33 kilometers from downtown Dalian, a new development zone centered on the modern service industry is set to rise.

"It's like one of the wings of Dalian and is designed to be a new transportation and logistic hub in the Northeast Asian economic circle," said Shi Chuandong, director of the administrative committee at Dalian King Bohai Coast Modern Service Industry Development Zone.
